The Border Corner

The Border Corner is an online community for border terrier enthusiasts internationally. Whether you're a pet owner, breeder, or simply an admirer of the breed, we encourage you to make yourself at home. Conformation, pet owners, and owners of border terriers involved in dog sports are all welcome and our diversity creates a dynamic community that drives The Border Corner.

After the recent forum thread regarding possible changes to the site, this template seemed to be embraced by the community. And so, now, we have a brand new fresh look! Please do report any problems you have with this look so I can rectify them as soon as possible. I will, however, be away for the next two days so problems can only be fixed once I return. Hope you like the new look!

Misty got her JE title and Lizzie got a 6th leg of ME.
We had a judge that hunts his BT's and he said that Liz is a real pro as she just ignores her brace mate and hunts. more >

Lizzy recently finished her RA. We are going to practice for an RE, but with Lizzy it is hard to tell what will happen. We have never NQ'd in Rally, but it is possible at any time with Liz. more >

Lizzy needed two legs to get her Rally Advanced Title and we qualified all three days last weekend so we have an insurance leg.
She got her Border Terrier club of America Versatility Award last summer and now that she has her advanced title in Rally she should qualify for the Versatility Excellent.
Misty and I are taking Agility classes and hopefully will be ready to compete at the BT Specialty in late September.

Lizzie had a really good run on Saturday Nov., 8th. Almost perfect. Then on Sunday she just kind of goofed off. Since she has her ME we're just playing anyhow.
Misty got a leg of JE on Saturday and came back out on Sunday.
We'll try again in the spring. Hope fully she will finish her JE and get a leg of SE.
WE are taking a little break fron conformation this winter, but may do some Rally. more >

Nov. 5th
Right now we are working on earth dog. Misty is really a good worker here at home and goes into the tunnel and really works. We'll see what happens next weekend when it counts.
Lizzie has her ME, but I run her for fun because she enjoys the hunt in the field so much.
They each got a leg of Rally in PA at the big terrier cluster. Misty got her first leg of novice and Liz her first leg of advanced. It was Misty's first trial and Liz's first time for advanced.
