Description of the Border
Caber is my first Border and my first showdog. Over the past 3 years, we have had a lot of fun in the showring, and out of it. Now he has matured and settled down (and I have become a better handler), Caber and I have even more fun in the show ring together. He has turned into a real show off, really moving himself out and showing off his fantastic gait. This dog can MOVE!
Aside from the show ring, Caber is an excellent housepet, always making us laugh at his games and antics. The things he does, I can't put into words but he is such a fun dog, absolutely bursting with personality.
He is very smart and he uses this to his advantage, but he also thrives on making us happy- he is very sensitive and will sulk for hours if he feels we are unhappy with him.
he has grown up with dogs of other breeds in our home but has really revelled in having a 2nd Border to play with, he and Ziva have become nbearly inseperable and will play, wrestle and sleep together for hours on end.
