Description of the Border
Misty has been a great puppy so far and hopefully will do well in conformation when it is her time to shine.
I got her from the same breeder that gave me Lizzy. He and I have become good friends and we co-own her with another friend.
She keeps me busy and is constantly into something. She loves to tear labels off of the dog beds, blankets or anything she can get hold of at the time.
Her registered name is from an era in history. The Roman Emperor Hadrian built a wall between England and Scotland and I wanted a name that had something to do with the area of these dogs origin.
Misty was in her first real show today (Sunday May 25th, 2008) and got her first point.
She was Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex.
We'll see what happens tomorrow.
Monday May 26th 2008, Misty got another point and Best of Breed.
She is just 6 months old and we are both learning and this was a great start for 2 novices.
Misty and I finally got 4 more points as we got a 4 point major on Labor Day in Lexington, KY.
It's been a struggle for us as I am vey new to this and don't know all the tricks, but I am learning. She deserves better.
